The person who is the subject of the biography is usually a person who has played significant roles in a number of circumstances that had a lasting impact on society or had distinctive ideas and plans, that are recorded in a certain manner. Barbara Heck did not leave any letters or written statements. In fact, the evidence for the date her marriage was a secondary issue. There is no evidence of primary sources through which one could reconstruct her motivations or her behavior throughout her lifetime. It is still an significant figure at the start of Methodism. It is the task of the biographer to explain the legend that she has created in this instance, and to try to portray the actual person enshrined therein.

Abel Stevens a Methodist Historian recorded the event in 1866. Barbara Heck has taken the first place on the New World's ecclesiastical lists due to the rise of Methodism. Her accomplishments must chiefly consist of the creation of her most important name, derived from the history of the great causes with which her legacy is forever identified more than through the events of her own lives. Barbara Heck played a lucky role in the birth of Methodism and Methodism, both in North America as well as Canada. She's famous because of the manner in which winning groups and organizations often celebrate their founding.
