Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board from 2011 is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theatre company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. As Artistic director of SSC she served as the company's composer, musician and text director as well as the costume, set and music designer. In her role, she is usually the head of her group the first time she was directing was in SSC King Lear.
