Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board from 2011 is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theatre company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. As Artistic director of SSC she served as the company's composer, musician and text director as well as the costume, set and music designer. In her role, she is usually the head of her group the first time she was directing was in SSC King Lear. She has worked in various other television shows apart from acting. The daughter of the scientist Richard F. Post and his wife poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her siblings. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school of choice. She was a cheerleader. She briefly studied at Pomona College. Post previously married Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer since 1982. They have two daughters. She is a wonderful actress as well as an ideal wife and mother Post is an inspiration to many people who work in Hollywood.
